1. On your desktop find the following icon and click on it.

2. As you click on it the following splash screen appears,.... let it run its course.

3. Finally, the last screen below appears.

4 This control panel can now customize your settings.

5. For scanning your hard drive simply click on the drive icon located right of the date and the word Standard.

6. A box will scroll up for you to choose the level of scan, move the scroll bar in it right for a "Thourough Scan"

7. Also check the "Scan Archives" Checkbox

8. Click the triagle on the left to start the scan.
